This special hook is designed for the amazing "hover trolling" method, which lures fish from the surface to middle layers at an ultra-slow speed, almost like a suspended lure, and gets even tough fish to bite. Its greatest feature, the W-guard, allows for tight approaches to structures such as covers and overhangs, expanding its range of use to areas that were previously inaccessible. It can be freely adjusted by widening or cutting it, allowing it to be tuned to suit the situation.

Its features are not only suitable for hobasting, but also for "bug patterns" that are effective mainly in the summer season. It has great potential for techniques such as lantern fishing (hanging) that makes use of the guard, and for entangling in covers.
