The ONETEN R is a special collaboration between Yuki Ito, the creator of the original ONETEN and a legendary lure designer, and Shinji Sato, also known as Satoshin, a master of jerkbaits. The mission of the ONETEN R is to inherit the unique jerk action of the original ONETEN while achieving a one-of-a-kind action, aiming to be the "number one lure for the strongest catches on Lake Biwa." It showcases its own unique performance during jerking and retrieving.
It is a full-contact system jerkbait that can reliably elicit reaction bites regardless of the season.
■ ONETEN R - CONCEPT
1. While maintaining its sharp darting action, the retrieve is set to a natural, tight action that is effective even for tough bass.
2. By integrating the main weight into one and concentrating the center of gravity at a single point, casting impact is increased, resulting in exceptional casting distance and a beautiful flight posture.
3. By using the three models ONETEN R, R+1, and R+2 interchangeably, it is possible to precisely adjust to the swimming depth of the baitfish.
The ONETEN R was specially designed by Yuki Ito and renowned jerkbait angler Shinji Sato. The objective of the ONETEN R was to build upon the unique jerking action of the ONETEN, and fine-tune for domination on Lake Biwa in both straight retrieve and traditional jerkbait applications. During jerking and retrieves, it exhibits unique performance, honed over countless years of experience and prototypes.
