Although it's a giant elastomer worm, its soft material allows for high penetration, and offset hooks can also be used. In field tests, the worm was used with a single lure, as well as with a 1/2-cut and a 1/4-cut body, and the results were excellent whether the lure was floating, sinking, mid-water, or on the bottom. It was also found to be effective in attracting fish with any action, including shaking, swimming, and jerking. The fact that it was originally a mysterious object with no known origins is the secret to its ability to become anything.
