Orikin's treasured insects are now available

OSP pro staff member Kazuki Orikane started making the Orikane Mushi in secret before bug lures became popular. It is a secret bug that he has pursued and evolved as a maniac and kept secret. Its thoroughly polished performance has led him to win many tournaments held at Lake Kameyama and Lake Takataki, the meccas of bug lures. The secret to its overwhelming catch is that it has "outstanding fish-attracting power despite its small silhouette that can withstand high pressure," "an extremely bait-like presence that fools even bass that are used to bug lures," and "good hooking while having excellent snag resistance." The sweet pop sound and splash emitted by the cup-shaped head draws bass from the depths of cover and deeper ranges that bass would not normally notice with a small-silhouetted bug lure. The inverted arm makes it easy to lure by reducing the distance it moves, while also recreating the movement of a drowning bug struggling. And the four pairs of legs float on the water surface, generating complex ripples even with a slight shake. The brush guard is made of two pieces for heavy cover, and by planting them vertically, it protects the center line of the hook even when it is cut into a single guard. After trying out various hook patterns, Origane concluded that the downward line eye and hook are the best for hooking. It is not only effective in fields where insects are the main bait, but also for ultra-high pressure and visible bass.
