The OSP Sinker Direct is a sinker designed with a thorough pursuit of the performance required for bottom fishing, a wide range of fishing scenes, regardless of fish species. The required performance is a good flight, a fast, straight sink, and a high ability to sense the bottom while avoiding obstacles. To meet these requirements, dozens of test samples were tested in the field. The final result was a low center of gravity and a rounded top. This shape prevents it from getting stuck in gaps between rocks or wave-breaking blocks. It also makes the top of the body less likely to hit obstacles, reducing damage to the inner pipe through which the line passes. The inner diameter of the inner pipe was designed with the thickness of the line in mind. For example, when using a free rig, the worm and sinker are more easily separated, allowing for a more natural lure. The West Edge shape prevents it from slipping out too easily over uneven bottom surfaces or rocks, while still clearly conveying information about the terrain to the angler, ultimately contributing to preventing snags. The OSP Direct Sinker, which has the high level of performance required in actual fishing, overturns the concept that it is "just a sinker."
