A centrifugal brake that smoothly extends the trajectory to the second half of the cast, SVS ∞ (Infinity). At NEW Antares, we searched for a spool size that could make the most of these characteristics, and arrived at design values with a line capacity of 14lb-100m of nylon and a diameter/width of 37/21mm. The newly developed Magnum Light Spool IV, which corrects the pincushion shape with an inverted tapered shape, and the synergistic effect of the newly-shaped line guide and the worm shaft optimized for each gear ratio ensure that the line is wound in a regularly balanced manner, reducing spool vibration during casting. Combined with the effects of the traditional silent tune and S3D spool, it prevents power loss when casting and achieves a heart-pounding cast performance that stretches as far as it goes. For the first time in a bait reel, a silent drive is installed, and a high-quality and comfortable rotational feeling is achieved by supporting three bearings on the drive gear shaft. The palming shape that fits naturally in the hand and the clutch shape that allows stress-free access to the spool allow for a fluid sequence of actions from palming to clutch operation to casting to lure operation and pickup.
